Support Pharmacist (Maternity Cover) – Dublin 7

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Support Pharmacist to join our busy community pharmacy team in Dublin 7 on a nine‑month maternity cover. Working closely with the Supervising Pharmacist, you will help ensure safe dispensing and provide professional advice to our local patients.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions in line with PSI regulations and SOPs.
• Deliver high‑quality patient care and professional advice.
• Assist the supervising pharmacist and pharmacy team with daily operations.
• Maintain accurate supply of medicines and support stock control and ordering.
• Contribute to pharmacy services such as vaccinations, health checks and the Common Conditions Service.
• Uphold excellent customer service and professionalism at all times.
• Foster positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

Required profile

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the Irish pharmacy schemes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive “can‑do” attitude and highly organised.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a pressured environment.
• Patient‑focused approach with commitment to high standards of care.
