Swine Specialist

About the role

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Swine Specialist to join its Livestock team. You will be responsible for managing key swine accounts across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, driving sales and delivering value to veterinary and producer customers.

Key responsibilities

• Implement strategic and national account plans and develop local account plans.
• Build strong relationships with veterinarians and producers, identifying mutual business opportunities.
• Provide on‑farm technical support, including assistance with vaccination programme set‑up.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to uncover new opportunities.
• Handle first‑line product queries and collaborate with the Swine Veterinary Advisor for technical support.

Required profile

• Degree level education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong organisational, planning and analytical skills.
• Proven selling, influencing and financial acumen.
