Syndicate Accountant – Permanent (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

This permanent position is based in Dublin and operates on a hybrid model. The Syndicate Accountant will support the finance team in delivering accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance for a syndicate/insurance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly financial reports, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support regulatory filings, statutory accounts, and group reporting.
• Assist with IFRS adjustments, financial analysis, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and review the output of junior team members.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 102/103).
• Experience in insurance or syndicate accounting.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Required skills

• Proficiency with IFRS accounting standards.
• Understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102/103).
• Experience applying accounting principles in an insurance/syndicate context.
