Syndicate Accountant – Permanent (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role
This permanent position is based in Dublin and operates on a hybrid model. The Syndicate Accountant will support the finance team in delivering accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance for a syndicate/insurance environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly financial reports, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Support regulatory filings, statutory accounts, and group reporting.
- Assist with IFRS adjustments, financial analysis, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and review the output of junior team members.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 102/103).
- Experience in insurance or syndicate accounting.
- No visa sponsorship available.
Required skills
- Proficiency with IFRS accounting standards.
- Understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102/103).
- Experience applying accounting principles in an insurance/syndicate context.
