Talent Acquisition Executive

About the role

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Talent Acquisition Executive will own the end‑to‑end recruitment process for a wide range of positions within JJ Rhatigan. The role is pivotal in attracting, engaging and securing top talent while strengthening the company’s employer brand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy approval to onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to define workforce needs and design recruitment strategies.
• Draft and advertise vacancies on relevant job boards and support marketing with social media recruitment campaigns.
• Screen applications, conduct initial interviews and coordinate interview schedules.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates to ensure a positive experience.
• Manage relationships with recruitment agencies.
• Represent JJ Rhatigan at career fairs, industry events and networking opportunities.
• Support graduate and apprenticeship recruitment programmes.
• Develop talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and produce hiring activity reports.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
• Assist with onboarding and integration of new hires and support broader HR projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Strong interviewing, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Excellent organisational ability with high attention to detail.
• Ability to build effective relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Third‑level qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (desirable).
• Experience in construction, engineering or technical recruitment is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
