Talent Acquisition Specialist – Cork

About the role

EFOR is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its Cork office and support the company’s rapid international growth. You will act as a trusted recruitment partner, delivering a seamless candidate experience from first contact to offer acceptance while collaborating closely with directors and hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for the Irish business and support occasional European hiring initiatives.
• Partner with directors and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and design tailored recruitment strategies.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines to meet current and future hiring demands.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout every recruitment stage.
• Proactively source and headhunt high‑calibre professionals using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals and market mapping.
• Conduct competency‑based interviews to assess technical expertise, motivation and cultural fit.
• Present and advise hiring managers on the best talent available in the market.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of experience in talent acquisition, either in‑house or at a recruitment consultancy.
• Experience recruiting technical, engineering or Life Sciences profiles is highly desirable.
• Strong expertise in direct sourcing and headhunting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong organisational abilities.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
