Talent Development Specialist

About the role

Mercury is seeking a Talent Development Specialist to design, deliver, and evaluate learning initiatives that support new hires, graduate programmes and overall organisational effectiveness. Based at the Global Headquarters in Ballycoolin, Dublin, the role operates in a hybrid model and involves occasional European travel.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and deliver end‑to‑end talent development programmes, including in‑house content and external provider coordination.
• Develop and facilitate learning solutions using classroom, workshop, e‑learning and blended approaches.
• Integrate coaching techniques into programmes and provide coaching/mentoring to employees and managers.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders to secure support and alignment for development initiatives.
• Build strong relationships across all organisational levels and partner with cross‑functional teams for effective programme rollout.
• Align learning activities with business strategy and measurable performance outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and delivering learning and development programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor and facilitate learning for diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel across Europe as required.
