Tax Manager – Advisory & Compliance for SME Clients

About the role
Join a progressive, medium‑sized accounting and tax advisory firm as a Tax Manager. Reporting to the Tax Partner, you will lead a small team and deliver both advisory and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of SME clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of SME clients, handling compliance and consultancy projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while expanding your external network.
- Assist in managing the tax department’s workflow, billing, and fee collection.
- Collaborate with Partners, Directors and Managers on tax consultancy engagements.
- Liaise with other departments to identify tax planning opportunities for clients.
Required profile
- Qualified Tax Professional and/or qualified accountant.
- Good working knowledge of all tax heads.
- Prior managerial experience at assistant‑manager or manager level.
- Proven ability to manage and develop junior staff.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
