Tax Manager – Financial Services (Banking & Fintech)

About the role

PwC Ireland is seeking a Manager for its Financial Services Tax practice, focusing on banking and fintech clients. The role offers the chance to work with a leading global network of tax professionals on both Irish and cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of banking, capital markets and fintech clients, delivering tax optimisation strategies and compliance services.
• Develop and implement efficient tax structures for domestic and international transactions.
• Collaborate with PwC’s global Tax FS team and other service lines to provide integrated solutions.
• Stay abreast of changes in Irish tax legislation and liaise with Irish Revenue and the Department of Finance.
• Support sustainability and ESG initiatives within the financial services sector.

Required profile

• Qualified tax professional with several years of experience in financial services, banking or fintech.
• Strong understanding of Irish tax law and international tax issues.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high‑quality advisory services.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Tax compliance and advisory for banking, capital markets, asset & wealth management, insurance, and fintech.
• Experience with cross‑border transaction structuring.
• Knowledge of sustainability and ESG tax considerations.
