Tax Manager – Financial Services (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

This position is with a leading global financial services organisation operating in Dublin. The Tax Manager will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with senior finance and tax stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and supporting the group’s financial reporting and tax accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly, annual and periodic tax reporting schedules and financial statement disclosures under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Monitor tax legislation developments and assess their impact on the group’s reporting obligations.
• Review tax provisions prepared by international teams and external advisors.
• Liaise with finance teams across jurisdictions on tax reporting and compliance matters.
• Partner with senior stakeholders on group tax reporting requirements and initiatives.
• Maintain tax controls, process documentation and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Monitor uncertain tax positions and ensure appropriate documentation and reporting.
• Develop and enhance tax accounting policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent).
• 4‑6 years of experience in tax accounting, financial reporting or insurance finance.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS tax accounting standards.
• Experience preparing and reviewing tax provisions.
• Understanding of international tax developments, including BEPS Pillar 2.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
