Tax Manager

About the role

Moore, a leading Irish provider of accountancy and advisory services, is expanding its tax team. The Tax Manager will deliver high‑quality tax consultancy to a diverse client base and can be based in Cork, Galway, Dublin or Dun Laoghaire.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax consultancy and advisory services across multiple industries.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients.
• Prepare and present tax planning reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments and professional advisors to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on legislative changes.
• Train, mentor, and review the work of junior staff members.
• Manage tax consultancy projects, ensuring timely and budget‑conscious delivery.
• Identify new business opportunities and support department administration, including work‑in‑progress, billing and fee collection.

Required profile

• Qualified CTA tax professional (accounting qualification preferred but not essential).
• Minimum 2–3 years post‑qualification experience in tax consultancy and advisory.
• Proven track record of managing a team of professionals.
• Strong project management capabilities.
