Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Manager to support the Head of Tax in a leading Energy & Infrastructure organisation. The role is strategic, high‑impact and involves shaping the Group tax strategy across a complex international business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, commercial tax advice to business units and senior stakeholders.
• Support transactions, business cases and forecasting from a tax perspective.
• Lead corporation tax compliance for Irish and UK entities.
• Oversee tax provisioning for statutory accounts, reporting and forecasts.
• Manage transfer pricing compliance and documentation, including CbCR, ILR and UK CIR.
• Maintain and enhance the Tax Control Framework and ensure SAO compliance.
• Lead tax forecasting aligned with business planning cycles and ensure Pillar II and sustainability reporting compliance.
• Drive process improvements and tax technology initiatives, partnering with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of tax experience with a CTA (or equivalent) qualification and at least 7 years of PQE.
• Strong technical expertise in corporate tax, compliance and reporting.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
