Tax Senior Manager – Dublin

About the role

This senior tax position offers the chance to lead a growing tax team in Dublin, working on a diverse portfolio of compliance and advisory projects. You will interact directly with senior leadership and have clear pathways for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review personal and corporate tax compliance assignments.
• Deliver tax advisory and planning projects, including restructuring, succession planning, R&D tax credits, and VAT matters.
• Prepare technical reports and tax advice for clients.
• Identify tax planning opportunities while ensuring compliance with Irish tax legislation.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Liaise with Revenue, manage audits and tax enquiries.
• Mentor and review the work of junior team members.
• Oversee engagement delivery, deadlines, work‑in‑progress, and billing.
• Stay up‑to‑date with tax legislation and technical developments.

Required profile

• CTA qualified (or equivalent) with 5+ years of tax experience, preferably in practice.
• Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience across both compliance and advisory work.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing fees, WIP, and identifying growth opportunities.
• Previous people‑management or mentoring experience is desirable.
