Tax Specialist

About the role

The Tax Specialist will join a well‑established international tax team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Working within a global, innovation‑led business, the role offers broad exposure to indirect tax across multiple jurisdictions and close collaboration with a high‑performing Global Business Services function.

Key responsibilities

• Support indirect tax compliance in several countries.
• Collaborate with finance teams to resolve VAT queries and improve related processes.
• Contribute to system updates and ongoing tax reporting requirements.
• Assist with audits, reconciliations and control procedures.
• Partner with internal stakeholders on evolving tax and operational matters.

Required profile

• Qualified in tax, accounting or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with indirect tax, either in industry or a professional practice.
• Strong attention to detail and a practical, solutions‑focused mindset.
• Confidence working with systems and engaging across multiple teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of indirect tax regulations and VAT compliance.
• Ability to analyse tax data and support reporting processes.
