Teaching, Learning and Development Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a qualified pharmacist who is passionate about teaching, learning and professional development to join the IPU Professional Academy. In this role you will help design, deliver and assess high‑quality training programmes for community pharmacy teams across Ireland, using live, distance and e‑learning formats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update training curricula, workshops and e‑learning modules for pharmacy professionals.
• Deliver training sessions both in‑person and remotely, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences.
• Assess participants’ progress and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with a small, fast‑paced team to align training with the strategic needs of community pharmacies.
• Contribute to the creation of accessible, patient‑focused educational resources.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with recognised experience in teaching, learning or professional development.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Motivated, dynamic and able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
