Team Leader – Coffee Shop

About the role

As a Team Leader at Costa Coffee, you will be the front‑line manager of a busy coffee shop, developing essential leadership skills while delivering a great customer experience. This position is designed as a stepping‑stone toward store management or regional responsibilities, with full support and coaching from experienced leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations, ensuring high standards of service and product quality.
• Coach, mentor and schedule team members to achieve performance targets.
• Handle cash, stock control and opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain health, safety and hygiene compliance.
• Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Passionate about coffee and hospitality.
• Strong communication and people‑management abilities.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in a retail or food‑service environment is a plus.
