Team Leader

About the role

The Team Leader will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a manufacturing shift, ensuring product quality, on‑time delivery and compliance with safety, environmental and cGMP standards. This role coordinates team members, support departments and resources to meet production targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the shift team and key support functions to achieve quality, delivery and cost goals in a safe, cGMP‑compliant environment.
• Drive lean initiatives and 5S practices to improve process reliability and efficiency.
• Conduct daily shift meetings reviewing production data, equipment status, escalations and corrective actions.
• Plan and allocate people, material and machine resources to support weekly production schedules.
• Oversee injection molding, tool and assembly changeovers, ensuring proper line clearance and validation.
• Coordinate operator training, standard work development and documentation.
• Maintain equipment cleaning, preventative maintenance, calibration and inventory control per cGMP requirements.
• Promote Jabil’s values, EHS compliance and a high‑performing team culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading shift teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, EHS and quality system requirements.
• Ability to apply lean tools and 5S methodology to drive continuous improvement.
• Effective communication and coaching skills to develop a flexible, high‑performing team.
