Tech Transfer Lead

About the role

The Tech Transfer Lead will drive end‑to‑end technology transfer of biologics drug substance processes for a global pharmaceutical innovator in Dublin. This 11‑month contract role focuses on moving upstream and downstream processes from development into a cGMP manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of biologics drug substance processes, covering upstream, downstream, and related unit operations.
• Develop and execute detailed transfer strategies, timelines, risk assessments, and readiness plans.
• Collaborate with process development teams to translate critical process parameters, control strategies, and material attributes into manufacturing.
• Manage cross‑functional teams, align stakeholders, resolve issues, and implement mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in process development, MSAT, manufacturing, or tech transfer with strong upstream/downstream knowledge.
• Deep understanding of biologics drug substance processes and cGMP environments, including process validation, quality systems, and regulatory expectations.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex projects.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
