Technical Services Engineer – Partners

About the role

MongoDB is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to join its Dublin team on a Tuesday‑through‑Saturday shift. The role works in a hybrid model, supporting large customers and partners with deep expertise across the MongoDB ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with top customers and ISV partners to resolve complex architecture, performance, recovery, and security issues.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices for running MongoDB at scale.
• Advocate for customer and partner needs by working closely with product management and development teams.
• Contribute to internal tools for performance benchmarking, diagnostics, and support automation.
• Mentor new team members and expand knowledge of emerging MongoDB product lines.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with systems engineering, Linux performance tuning, memory management, I/O configuration, security, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS.
• Proven ability to build and maintain mission‑critical production databases (RDBMS or NoSQL).
• Excellent communication skills, calm under pressure, and a genuine desire to help customers.
• Rapid learner with a passion for acquiring new technical skills.
