Technical Training Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Training Manager to join a leading food manufacturing business in West Cork. Working across Bantry (3 days) and Cork City (2 days), you will partner with Production, Technical, Quality and HR teams to build capability and ensure a safe, compliant workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver induction and onboarding programmes for new hires.
• Coordinate and deliver training across production and support functions, covering SOPs, GMP, hygiene, food safety and operational procedures.
• Conduct competency assessments, refresher sessions and maintain up‑to‑date training matrices and plans.
• Manage mandatory internal and external training, keeping accurate, audit‑ready records.
• Support BRCGS, customer and regulatory audits by providing evidence of training compliance.
• Identify training needs with managers and continuously improve training materials and delivery methods.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering or coordinating training in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels of the business.
