Technologist – Clinical Manufacturing

About the role

The Technologist will join the Ringaskiddy Clinical Manufacturing Facility (RCMF) to support the scale‑up and clinical production of new small‑molecule APIs using advanced continuous manufacturing platforms. Reporting to the Operations Lead, the role is part of process teams that drive new product introduction and ensure safe, high‑quality, and cost‑effective manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise and schedule activities to meet the RCMF manufacturing schedule.
• Work shift patterns as required to support business needs.
• Execute manufacturing runs flawlessly, adhering to safety, quality and customer‑service metrics.
• Operate manufacturing control systems to execute processing steps.
• Assemble and disassemble process equipment for changeovers.
• Maintain audit‑ready housekeeping standards.
• Monitor and optimise product quality, yield and process efficiency.
• Prepare the facility for new product activities following start‑up Standard Work Plans.
• Perform real‑time analysis of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) data and make decisions with Pharm Sci colleagues.
• Lead investigations and resolve process problems on‑plant.
