Territory Manager – Ireland

About the role

WIDDOP and Co is seeking a full‑time, field‑based Territory Manager to cover Southern Ireland. You will be the primary point of contact for retail customers, driving sales growth and representing the company’s extensive giftware and homeware portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales across the Irish territory, meeting or exceeding targets.
• Visit existing and prospective retail customers to present new collections, promotions and gather market feedback.
• Plan and optimise daily routes, monitor account performance and report sales data.
• Collaborate with internal sales, customer service and marketing teams to support territory objectives.
• Attend trade shows, showroom events and internal meetings to stay updated on product developments and market trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field sales, account management or a similar commercial role, preferably within giftware, homeware, FMCG or related sectors.
• Strong sales operations and territory‑management skills with a track record of achieving targets.
• Analytical and business‑planning abilities to interpret sales data and identify growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills to build long‑term retailer relationships.
• Self‑motivated, able to organise schedules independently and prioritise visits.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout Ireland and occasionally to the Manchester showroom.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM systems for pipeline and reporting management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
