Test Operator – PCB Production

About the role
Moog is looking for a Test Operator to join its PCB production team in Carrigaline. You will work on a variety of assembly and testing tasks, ensuring high‑quality printed circuit boards are produced efficiently and safely.
Key responsibilities
- Operate assembly, cleaning and baking equipment for PCB production.
- Prepare components, apply adhesives and conformal coatings, and perform manual assembly of PCBs and mechanical hardware.
- Use torque tools and follow IPC‑based assembly procedures, drawings and SOPs.
- Set up equipment, take process‑related measurements, and carry out routine machine maintenance.
- Inspect, rework and document PCB assemblies according to established criteria.
- Enter work orders and production data in the ERP system.
- Observe all safety, anti‑static and housekeeping requirements.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of experience in electronic assembly or a similar production environment.
- Strong commitment to quality and production targets.
- Detail‑oriented with good problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
- Positive, flexible attitude and good interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Knowledge of IPC‑7711/IPC‑7721 and IPC J‑Standard.
- Proficiency with torque tools and PCB cleaning/baking equipment.
- Experience applying adhesives and conformal coatings.
- Ability to use an ERP system for work‑order processing.
