Test Technician

About the role

Moog Ireland is looking for a Test Technician to join its production team in Carrigaline. You will be responsible for setting up, testing, and troubleshooting a range of electronic products, including motor controllers and PCB assemblies, in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret schematics, layout and assembly drawings to configure test setups.
• Operate test equipment such as digital multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, ESS chambers and vibration tables.
• Test and debug electronic motor controllers and PCB assemblies, from passive components to FPGA and microprocessor based systems.
• Perform failure analysis on production and returned units and feed findings back to engineering for process improvement.
• Document test results, yield reports and non‑conformance data accurately.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in an ISO‑9001 or equivalent regulated environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
