Ticket/Gate Agent (Customer Service Agent)

About the role

As a Ticket/Gate Agent (Customer Service Agent) you will be the front‑line representative of Delta, ensuring a smooth and positive travel experience for passengers at Dublin Airport. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, handling check‑in, boarding, baggage and flight‑turnaround activities while upholding safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support check‑in, boarding and gate operations, including ticketing and reservations.
• Coordinate with business partners to achieve efficient flight turn‑around and on‑time departures.
• Assist passengers with re‑booking, connections, lost‑and‑found, baggage services and general inquiries.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with safety, security and service standards.
• Perform administrative tasks such as reporting, audits, cost control and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with Delta leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Promote and help passengers use airport technology solutions.
• Occasionally lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in airport customer service, airline or ground handling.
• Permanent, valid authorization to live and work in the EU (including Ireland); no visa sponsorship provided.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Valid Irish driver’s licence.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, extended hours and on‑call requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required skills

• Knowledge of airport technology and general airport operations.
