Trading Team Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

As a Trading Team Manager at B&Q Tallaght you will lead a high‑performing store team, ensuring the sales floor delivers strong commercial results while providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end stock management, range changes and promotional execution.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercial delivery on the sales floor, overseeing stock levels, range updates and in‑store promotions.
• Analyse sales data, loyalty insights and customer feedback to conduct regular commercial reviews.
• Coach and develop team members to build deep product knowledge and create meaningful customer interactions.
• Maintain and improve stock management rituals and routines to ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align store performance with B&Q’s overall commercial targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading retail teams, preferably in a home‑improvement or similar environment.
• Comfortable coaching colleagues and fostering an inclusive, high‑performing culture.
• Strong organisational skills with a passion for process and operational excellence.
• Ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into actionable plans.
