Trading Team Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

As a Trading Team Manager you will lead a high‑performing store team in Dublin, driving commercial performance on the sales floor and ensuring customers receive exceptional service. You will rotate across several stores as a designate manager before taking ownership of a permanent department.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end stock management, range changes and promotional activities on the trading floor.
• Analyse sales data, loyalty insights and customer feedback to conduct regular commercial reviews.
• Coach and develop colleagues to build deep product knowledge and deliver meaningful customer interactions.
• Implement and maintain stock management rituals and routines to maximise product availability.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve B&Q’s commercial targets.

Required profile

• Proven ability to coach and develop retail teams.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Passion for process‑driven retail operations.
• Leadership mindset – lead rather than do.
