About the role
The Transcon Agent supports the end‑to‑end freight process, ensuring shipments move smoothly and data is accurately captured. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to meet service standards in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain smooth and timely freight process flow.
- Enter accurate data into the operational system promptly.
- Track and trace Transcon files, generate reports and ensure timely client and vendor billing.
- Coordinate freight delivery and customs clearance when required.
- Communicate with customers to arrange shipments that meet service standards.
- Build and sustain good relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies.
- Respond quickly to network communications, emails and requests.
- Meet KPI targets in line with company policy.
- Understand customer procedures and keep internal DLSOPs up‑to‑date.
Required profile
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience or equivalent education/training.
- Understanding of ocean documentation processes is a plus.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Pro‑active attitude with strong organizational abilities.
- Fluent English.
- Hazardous Materials certification preferred.
