VP Merchant Acquiring Pricing Manager

About the role

JPMorgan Chase’s Merchant Services division is seeking a senior pricing professional to lead the pricing strategy for its international merchant acquiring business, with a focus on the APAC region. Reporting to the Head of Merchant Services International Pricing, the VP will own pricing models, drive scenario analysis and support contract creation across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the APAC pricing model, updating it for new products and pricing strategies.
• Provide training and ongoing support to model users across the organization.
• Develop custom pricing models for unique client scenarios.
• Manage the day‑to‑day pricing approval process, maintain SOPs and ensure audit readiness.
• Prepare ad‑hoc financial analyses, profitability assessments and respond to customer pricing requests.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to assess the impact of interchange, scheme fee and product changes on pricing.
• Review client contracts and pricing outputs for accuracy and support onboarding teams.
• Lead end‑to‑end contract creation, streamlining financial modelling, approvals and client onboarding workflows.
• Execute additional management directives as required.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Self‑starter capable of independent problem‑solving.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration across all levels.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or related field (preferred).
• Background in accounting/finance and experience in payments or merchant acquiring (preferred).
