About the role

The Irish Film Institute is looking for enthusiastic wait staff to join its café bar team. You will serve a diverse audience of film lovers in a historic cultural venue, ensuring a friendly and efficient service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service to guests at all times.
• Attend to customers promptly and courteously.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the café’s product offering.
• Serve food and beverage items efficiently and present them to a high standard.
• Prepare and set up the restaurant before service and clean up afterwards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is desirable.
• Barista skills are a plus.
• Passionate and enthusiastic about interacting with customers.
• Positive, “can‑do” attitude and willingness to develop knowledge and skills.
• Interest in film and the cultural environment is advantageous.
