Warehouse Operative – Day Shift

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our Lough Egish facility on the day shift. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth inbound and outbound flow of cheese products while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and transfer pallets between loading bays and storage locations.
• Receive and dispatch pallets using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and HACCP food‑safety guidelines.
• Conduct quality and processing checks to preserve product integrity.
• Operate manual handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Pack cheese products for distribution according to company standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to change and occasional Saturday shifts.

Required skills

• MHE/FLT certification (desirable).
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• Safe operation of manual handling equipment.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate of €14.98.
• Day‑shift schedule: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday.
• Occasional Saturday shifts (7:30 am – 1:00 pm) with overtime pay (1.5× for first 4 h, double thereafter).
