Warehouse Operator

About the role

Charles River is seeking a full‑time Warehouse Operator for its Rathcoole site near Dublin. The position runs Monday to Friday, 08:30‑16:30, offering a structured 37.5‑hour week in a hands‑on, physical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and distribute shipments following SOPs and GDP‑compliant procedures.
• Package materials and maintain an orderly dock and warehouse area.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute documentation for all shipped items.
• Coordinate courier pick‑ups and deliveries as needed.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Required profile

• Leaving Certificate or higher education.
• Some experience in a similar warehouse or logistics setting.
• Valid driver’s licence preferred; vehicle or proximity to D24 Eirecode is advantageous.
• Strong organisational ability, attention to detail, and computer literacy.
• Knowledge of electronic equipment, instrumentation, spare parts, and supply‑chain best practices.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (desirable but not essential).
• Experience with SAP.
