Welder / Fabricator – Metal Structures

About the role

Turmec is expanding its manufacturing team and seeks dedicated metal fabricators/welders to support small and large‑scale projects across Ireland, the UK and international markets. The role works on a rotating shift pattern covering morning and evening shifts within a close‑knit, quality‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures, frames and components.
• Perform mild‑steel and stainless‑steel fabrication.
• Operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in mild‑steel or stainless‑steel fabrication.
• High‑standard MIG welding ability.
• Safe‑Pass and manual‑handling knowledge (desirable).
• Ability to work to CE EN1090 criteria.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Self‑sufficient, initiative‑driven and a reliable team player.
• Good attendance and time‑keeping.
• Own car for commuting.
