Welding Quality Manager

About the role

Join a leading manufacturing and engineering organisation as a Welding Quality Manager. You will own welding quality governance across multiple facilities, ensuring compliance with ISO 3834 and industry best practices while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain welding certification requirements and oversee welder qualifications.
• Support customer and third‑party audits and manage ISO 3834 compliance.
• Develop, implement and monitor quality processes for welding operations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, project management, procurement, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in welding quality, welding engineering or quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication standards and inspection techniques.
• Experience managing ISO 3834 compliance and certification.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Relevant engineering, welding or quality qualifications are advantageous.
