Wellness Coach – Luxury Resort (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Wellness Coach to join The Grace Westport Estate as it prepares to open its luxury resort on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way in Spring 2026. In this full‑time, pre‑opening position you will deliver personalised fitness coaching and lead group wellness sessions, ensuring an exceptional health‑focused experience for guests and members.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial fitness assessments, consultations and goal‑setting sessions for guests and members.
• Design, deliver and monitor bespoke training programmes covering strength, conditioning, mobility and functional fitness.
• Lead small‑group fitness classes, workshops and wellness events as required.
• Ensure safe and effective use of gym equipment, providing clear instructions and demonstrations.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organisation and presentation of the gym, studios and wellness areas.
• Manage bookings, schedules, client records and handle enquiries via phone and email.
• Process payments and keep accurate administrative records.
• Promote the resort’s wellness services, programmes and retail products.
• Support wellness retreats, events and promotional activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and keep certifications up to date.

Required profile

• Recognised personal training qualification in Ireland (e.g., Level 3 Gym Instructor and Level 4 Personal Trainer) or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong guest‑service orientation.
• Ability to motivate clients of varying fitness levels.
• Strong organisational abilities for managing bookings and programming.
• Flexible, reliable and team‑oriented mindset.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a fitness environment.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Required skills

• Personal training certification (Level 3 Gym Instructor, Level 4 Personal Trainer).
• Knowledge of health‑ and safety standards for fitness facilities.
