Workday Extend Consultant/Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Workday Extend Consultant/Architect to join Kognitiv Inc.’s fast‑growing Extend practice. In this role you will translate client requirements into native Workday applications, leveraging the Workday Extend framework to deliver custom, production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prototype custom Workday apps using App Builder, Page Builder and Orchestration Builder.
• Develop full‑stack Extend solutions, from configuration in the App Hub to deployment and post‑go‑live support.
• Create and manage Custom Business Objects and custom processes to extend the Workday data model.
• Build event‑driven orchestrations that synchronize data between Workday and external systems.
• Utilize Workday Query Language, REST and SOAP APIs to query, transform and move data.
• Debug complex logic, perform root‑cause analysis and ensure applications are update‑safe.
• Contribute reusable components and best‑practice templates to the internal solution library.
• Collaborate with functional and integration teams to ensure seamless integration with core HCM, Finance or Student modules.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience developing solutions with Workday Extend.
• Strong understanding of Workday’s data model, security domains and integration patterns.
• Ability to work independently and help define development standards.
