Accommodation Assistant

About the role

The Accommodation Assistant works closely with the Accommodation Manager and Supervisors to ensure guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential for delivering a pleasant and memorable stay for all guests at The Fleet Hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and service designated areas each shift according to management instructions.
• Clean and maintain guest bedrooms, corridors, glass doors, and all public spaces.
• Perform deep‑cleaning tasks following standard operating procedures and schedules.
• Report maintenance defects that could affect guest experience or safety.
• Provide in‑room amenities such as water, gifts, and fruit as required.
• Ensure proper disposal of wet waste, glass, and recyclables.
• Attend weekly briefings and training sessions.
• Respond promptly to guest privacy and comfort requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as an Accommodation Assistant or similar role in a 4‑star hotel.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
