Account Manager – Diagnostic & Regulated Materials (Ireland)

About the role

The DxRM Account Manager will act as a strategic partner for customers across industrial, testing, academia and pharma sectors in Ireland. This field‑based position focuses on delivering tailored diagnostic and regulated material solutions, ensuring supply continuity, and driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales and gross profit targets for the DxRM portfolio.
• Provide accurate forecasts and detailed sales reports on schedule.
• Partner with customers to understand their processes, pain points, and quality requirements, offering solutions that improve efficiency and compliance.
• Develop account‑specific growth strategies to increase wallet share and long‑term loyalty.
• Identify and expand product and service utilization within existing accounts.
• Share customer insights with DxRM R&D and Product Management to influence the innovation pipeline.
• Utilise Salesforce CRM and digital analytics platforms to track engagement, forecast demand, and uncover cross‑selling opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activities and market positioning.
• Participate in trade shows and act as a technical consultant for product selection.
• Provide commercial and technical support, manage inquiries, plant audits, and contract negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical field (Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry) or Business; MBA highly desirable.
• 5+ years of field sales experience with DxRM, pharma, IVD or industrial customers.
• Proven ability to work across the full industrial product development and manufacturing value chain or clinical environments.
• Comfortable operating in a highly matrixed organisation.
