Accounting Manager – UK & Ireland

About the role

Amesto Global is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting and financial reporting services for clients in the UK and Ireland. Reporting to the Associate Director of Accounting, you will work across multiple clients, systems, and industries, ensuring accurate financial records and strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee client relationships across multiple countries, aligning expectations with internal service standards.
• Maintain centralized accounting records for international entities and prepare regular financial and consolidated reports.
• Coordinate financial statements and tax filings with team members and external partners.
• Serve as primary client contact, providing advisory support on accounting and financial matters.
• Liaise with external advisors such as lawyers, tax consultants, and auditors.
• Collaborate with internal payroll, corporate secretarial, and other service teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Document and update workflow processes for consistency and transparency.
• Advise clients on international expansion, market entry strategies, and financial reporting improvements.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in an accounting practice or professional services environment.
• Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
• Strong knowledge of Irish and UK GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• General understanding of payroll and basic corporate secretarial procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, Visma, Xledger, and NetSuite.
• Understanding of system integration and cross‑platform financial reporting.
