Assistant Project Manager – Construction Fit‑Out (6‑Month Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support multiple high‑end office fit‑out projects in Dublin. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement best‑practice project management techniques throughout each project.
• Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, weekly and monthly status updates.
• Maintain accurate project records, including risk registers, constraints logs and stakeholder registers.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date project plans, work schedules and change‑control documents.
• Provide administrative support: collate reports, prepare meeting agendas, issue notices and record minutes.
• Coordinate communication between project team members, suppliers, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Assist with health and safety documentation and monitor contractor performance.
• Support budgeting activities, forecast requirements and analyse variances.

Required profile

• Experience in construction fit‑out or similar commercial projects.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of basic financial concepts (budgeting, P/L).
• Ability to work under a fixed‑term contract and manage multiple priorities.
