Associate Manager, PE Governance Office

About the role

The Associate Manager, PE Governance Office provides operational support for contracting and compliance workflows related to external patient engagement activities and funding in Clinical Development. Working closely with the Team Lead, the role ensures timely, compliant execution of engagements across multiple internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, negotiate and execute contractual agreements using approved Novartis templates and legal standards.
• Collaborate with legal, ERC teams and activity owners to gather accurate data and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Maintain tracking, reporting and visibility of operational data for all engagement and funding activities.
• Provide first‑line support for enterprise tools (Engage, HIP, BeSure, GEMS) used in activity submissions.
• Support Patient Insight Panel processes, quarterly payments and Transfer of Value data‑validation.
• Lead team training, capability‑building sessions and contribute to SOP and work‑instruction development.
• Escalate system defects and complex access issues, and drive alignment with Legal on contract templates.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of contracting, compliance and patient engagement processes in a pharmaceutical or clinical‑development environment.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot process challenges and support continuous improvement.
