Basic Grade Pharmacist – Hospital Pharmacy

About the role

This permanent position offers a Basic Grade Pharmacist the opportunity to deliver high‑quality patient care within Beaumont Hospital’s pharmacy department. Working under the Chief II Pharmacist and Head of Pharmacy, you will rotate through clinical, dispensary and aseptic services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ward‑based clinical pharmacy, drug review and advice to medical and nursing staff.
• Carry out dispensary and aseptic duties, ensuring safe preparation and supply of medicines.
• Maintain accurate drug‑usage data in line with departmental policy.
• Support the procurement, storage and distribution of medicines and related items.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols and departmental quality standards.
• Cover additional specialties and provide back‑fill for dispensary, aseptic and clinical teams as required.
