Central Reservations Agent – Hotel Group

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Central Reservations Agent to join the Trigon Hotels Group’s Central Reservations Office located at the Cork Airport Hotel. The role involves handling booking enquiries for all Trigon Hotels properties, delivering exceptional customer service and supporting revenue goals in a fast‑paced office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests at the enquiry stage and throughout their stay across all Trigon Hotels locations.
• Process reservation queries in line with the company’s mystery‑shopper standards, ensuring all necessary details are captured accurately.
• Collaborate with team members and managers to meet forecasted revenue targets.
• Communicate promotions, packages and relevant information to guests and hotel staff promptly.
• Utilise the hotel Property Management System (training provided) to record and manage bookings.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a call‑centre or hotel reservations environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
