About the role
The Chief Pharmacist – Dispensary Service Manager leads the provision of pharmaceutical services to patients, ensuring alignment with the mission and ethos of the Pharmacy Department and the hospital.
Key responsibilities
- Source, acquire, purchase, store, formulate, compound and distribute all drugs and medicines used in the hospital.
- Advise clinical teams on the safe, effective and rational use of medicines.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety in pharmacy operations.
- Contribute to improving the quality of life for patients under hospital care.
Required profile
- Qualified pharmacist with extensive experience in hospital pharmacy operations.
- Proven leadership ability to manage a dispensary service.
- Commitment to patient safety and high‑quality pharmaceutical care.
