Civil Foreman – Cork

About the role

PJ Hegarty is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join its Cork site team. You will lead the general civils work, ensuring high‑quality delivery that meets all regulatory and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all general civils activities on‑site and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Plan, coordinate and report on subcontractor performance.
• Monitor the agreed project schedule and drive progress.
• Provide clear direction, motivate the workforce and maintain a collaborative team environment.
• Work closely with the Site Manager and other site personnel to achieve the highest possible standards.

Required profile

• Extensive background in civil construction roles.
• Proven experience managing large teams of contractors.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
