Clinical Nurse Manager

About the role

The Clinical Nurse Manager will support the Director of Nursing in overseeing a step‑down care facility, ensuring high‑quality resident care and a safe environment. This senior nursing position offers the chance to lead a multidisciplinary team within a supportive, patient‑focused setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with day‑to‑day operational management of the facility.
• Lead, mentor and support nursing and care teams to deliver excellent resident care.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance and quality of care.
• Foster effective communication, staff development and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Participate in quality improvement, risk management and service development initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered General Nurse with an active NMBI registration.
• Previous management or senior nursing experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Experience in elderly care, rehabilitation or step‑down care settings.
