Clinical Nurse Manager (Level 1) – Sligo

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Clinical Nurse Manager (Level 1) to lead our frontline care teams at our Sligo residential and community services. The role combines clinical oversight with staff mentorship to ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care for adults with physical, sensory and neurological disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise frontline care support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
• Ensure delivery of the highest standard of clinical care to service users, in line with Cheshire Ireland’s values and standards.
• Develop and maintain respectful, rights‑based relationships with individuals, promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate training programmes for staff at all levels.
• Make evidence‑based decisions and drive continuous improvement across services.
• Maintain compliance with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland regulations and organisational policies.

Required profile

• Qualified nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (RNID, RGN or RPN).
• Minimum three years post‑registration experience, currently operating at CNM1 level.
• Proven line‑management or supervisory experience in disability or personal social services.
• Experience delivering staff training and supporting professional development.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for work.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and strong written and verbal English.
