Clinical Pharmacist – Full‑time, Dublin 12

About the role

TCP Homecare is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join its licensed pharmacy in Clondalkin, Dublin 12. The position is desk‑based, Monday to Friday, with regular office hours and no weekend or on‑call duties. It offers a structured learning environment ideal for new graduates.

Key responsibilities

• Screen all prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and safety.
• Support patients receiving homecare services by providing medication counselling.
• Participate in afternoon rotations checking the fridge and dispensary.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team, nursing staff, drivers and quality departments to ensure high‑quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic error‑management and learning‑management systems.
• Gain exposure to orphan drugs, oncology, immunology, haemophilia, clinical trials, TPN and IV antibiotics.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality‑focused mindset.
• Excellent time‑management and ability to meet patient deadlines.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Reliable team player capable of adapting to a structured environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
