Construction Contracts Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading international construction and engineering firm, is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to drive the successful delivery of large‑scale, high‑value projects. You will provide commercial oversight, technical guidance and stakeholder leadership throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, management and progress tracking of one or multiple projects, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, quality and safety standards.
• Identify risks, resolve issues proactively and implement continuous improvement and lean construction practices.
• Manage design teams and external consultants, review design solutions and champion BIM implementation.
• Develop and communicate project programmes using Microsoft Project and Navisworks, and coordinate daily planning meetings with site teams.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, selection and performance, including Mechanical & Electrical contractors.
• Establish and monitor project KPIs, prepare internal and external reporting and represent the company at client meetings.
• Provide leadership, coaching and support to project and site teams, chair coordination meetings and lead stakeholder engagements.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Third‑level qualification in Construction Management.
• Membership of a recognised professional or industry body.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Experience using Navisworks.
• Strong knowledge of BIM implementation and best practices.
