Site Manager – Education Project (Kildare)

About the role

A leading Irish main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a large education development in Kildare. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities and coordinate subcontractors.
• Deliver works in line with programme targets and project deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, design team and client representatives.
• Monitor quality control and ensure works meet specifications.
• Oversee site logistics, sequencing and material coordination.
• Lead toolbox talks and contribute to site meetings.
• Maintain accurate site records and reporting.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor.
• Background delivering education, commercial or large‑scale residential projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site coordination.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Good understanding of Irish building regulations and BCAR.
• Strong health & safety awareness.
• Trade or construction‑related qualification preferred.
