Construction Foreman (Finishing)

About the role

We are seeking a Finishing Foreman to lead the delivery of the finishing stage on a £10m+ project in Galway. The role involves overseeing quality, programme and site coordination while ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finishing‑stage delivery, managing quality, programme, site coordination and workmanship standards.
• Drive EHS compliance, including inductions, RAMS and safe systems of work, and maintain high site standards.
• Manage QA/QC to the PMP/ITP, using BIM for inspections and sign‑off; raise and close NCRs.
• Produce core site records such as daily diaries, progress inputs and short‑term subcontractor programmes.
• Support commercial controls by understanding scopes, handling material call‑offs/GRNs and ensuring disciplined dayworks and instruction processes.

Required profile

• Construction‑related degree.
• 5–10+ years’ experience with a main contractor in Ireland/UK on £10m+ projects.
• Strong finishing background with a focus on quality and safety.
